Lamabati is the one of the most experienced regularly performing improv groups in Israel. Their style is surreal, explosive and high energy, while also emotion-driven and philosophical. They are known for their magical group-mind and avantgarde artistic vision. They are constantly adapting and developing new formats, looking to take the art of improv to the next level.

Talented Kinkonauts players conquer new frontiers with experimental formats. Witness the boldest and the bravest test their mettle. Some will crash and burn. The mightiest will blast off and soar to new heights.

Act 1: Radio Daze: Conflict of the Cosmos

The Kinkonauts’ season begins with the end of the world! Settle in for an improvised radio play inspired by the War of the Worlds broadcast that terrified and scandalized a nation. Embark on a dramatic journey complete with live sound effects, and maybe a martian or two. This one-night-only homage to Orson Welles’ homage to HG Wells is not to be missed. Improv is about to invade Calgary!

Act 2: Dream Toast feat. Necessary Elvis

A show based entirely on dream logic where dreams inspire dreams inspire dreams. It gets weird, nothing makes sense and your mom is there with a different face, but in the end it all means something. Delve into your subconscious with Dream Toast and discover the zany world of dream “logic.”

This two-act show runs from 8pm to 10pm with a brief intermission.

Three improv teams face off head-to-head in an intergalactic battle for your starry-eyed love – but only one can win! Your votes will determine the final victor of the season – leaving the other teams behind in their stardust.

Act 1: Nonsense & Sensibility – An Improvised Jane Austen

The Kinkonauts hitch up their waistlines and sharpen their wits to pay homage to Jane Austen in this fully improvised novel that never was.

Act 2: Squadball feat. Screamy Linguine

Squadball explores the weird, witty and wonderful places where friendships are forged and norms are shattered. This powerhouse of playfulness stretches the boundaries of their imaginations – and yours.

This two-act show runs from 8pm to 10pm with a brief intermission.

A macabre fantasy world to delight your senses! Inspired by the music of Danny Elfman and the films of Tim Burton (Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, the Nightmare Before Christmas), we present an improvised musical on the weird and wonderful side. It will be MAGICAL!

Act 2: Screamy Linguine feat. Necessary Elvis

We do so hope you enjoy scary stories, because the Lovecraft Twins adore them more than—dare we say it?—life itself. Lock yourself in a crypt-dark room and hear never-before-told tales of the macabre, the twisted, and the supernatural. No one has ever heard these stories before, but you will never forget them.
