Introduction to longform improv

Course Description:
Space Cadet (Level One) is our introductory longform course. Have you ever wanted to try your hand at improv but just haven't had the chance? Do you have some improv experience but you want to learn more about this fancy thing called "longform"? Do you just want to have fun in a safe environment? If you said yes to any of these questions, this course is for you!
The Kinkonauts, one of Calgary's finest improvisational troupes, will be holding an 8 week course that will introduce the concepts of longform improvisation to beginners, as well as give intermediate improvisers a forum to enhance their skills. Longform improvisation has its roots in Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago, and many of its students have gone on to perform on such shows as "Saturday Night Live" and in feature films.
Space Drop
For any graduate of level one and above
Monday nights at 8:30pm | starting January 11th, 2010:
A drop-in weekly workshop for Space Cadet graduates who want to keep their improv skills honed. Please RSVP by Facebook.

Chinook Community Centre, 1015 73rd Ave SW
Fee structure valid until Dec 2009:
$10 - weekly drop-in fee.
$30 - Monthly Pass. Buy three, get one free. (Hey, some months that might be get two free!)
Course Fees:
Regular course fees for all levels are $200 for 8 weeks. Fees are payable at the first class by cash or cheque. (Please make cheques payable to your instructor as the Kinkonauts don't have a bank account yet. We don't trust them banks, what with the recession an' all.)
